5 Ways to Treat Your Body like a Temple - Coach Erica Kelly



It doesn't matter whether you're the spiritual type or not, there's no denying that our body gives us thanks when we treat it with respect.

As part of my lifelong journey to be the greatest version of myself, I am focusing on establishing this respect in 2015.

Here are a few of the things I'm doing lately:

1. Sleep. It is how we naturally heal and does wonders.

2. Eat organic and local. Be better connected with the ground around us and be mindful of any harmful man-made ingredients that are lurking in our foods.

3. Schedule regular "me-time". Take 5-10 minutes out of your day to breathe and reflect. De-stress from the days' problems and find your center.

4. Positive affirmations. Keep the brain in a healthy place by emitting confidence and self worth.

5. Stay hydrated. Drinking water naturally flushes out the toxins in your body and helps us function efficiently.
